Jereme Robinson

Jereme Robinson ::::: Executive Director

Jereme is beginning his second year as Director of the State Champion Percussion for Alief Taylor High School.  Jereme has degrees in Fire Science and Business Administration and currently works as a full time Environmental and Hazardous Materials Specialist for a major oil company.  Jereme's work schedule permits him to be involved with both full time fire duties and Percussion Direction.  Jereme has 15 years of percussion performance experience and 6 years of instructional experience from area high schools.  Jereme has marched 6 years drum and bugle corps to include seasons with Division 1 DCI drum corps and DCA.  Jereme is a well rounded motivated business person who can carry IPT's administrative and performance goals into the future to come.  Jereme currently carries endorsements from Silverfox, and Grover Pro Percussion.  

Clay Jasper

Clay Jasper ::::: Percussion Director

Clay is currently a student pursuing his music education and masters in percussion performance.  Clay brings to the ensemble a vast knowledge of instructional and musical performance abilities.  Clay is the current Director of Percussion at Lexington High School and Battery Tech for the State Champion Alief Taylor Indoor Drumline.  Clay has 6 years teaching knowledge from Houston area high school drumlines.  Clay was a member of the Canton Bluecoats a top 12 division 1 Drum Corps.  Clay also marched independent open indoor drumline in national WGI competition.  Clay offers to the organization great musical, performance and visual ideas to carry IPT into top honors.

Paul Rennick

Paul Rennick  :::::  Arranger/Instructor

Paul is the Percussion Caption Head for Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps.  He is also
the Director of Percussion Studies at University of North Texas and Texas Christian University.

 


Chip Richter

Charles Richter ::::: Visual Director

Charles "Chip" Richter is currently the Associate Director of Bands for Alief Taylor High School.  Chip has a degree from Southwest Texas State University in music education.  Chip has also studied at the University of North Texas.   Chip has carried the Alief Taylor drumline into the top 3 PSAA for the past 4 years in competition earning a State Championship Title in 2007.  Chip is also a well known drill designer for marching bands across the state (Richterdrilldesign.com).  Chip brings to the organization a great knowledge of visual and marching packages to carry IPT into top honors at competition.

Mark Reynolds

Mark Reynolds  :::::  Consultant

Mark has been teaching percussion for the past 18 years in Ohio and around the country. He spent 8 years as the percussion director at Westerville North High School from 1993-2001.  Mark also was the arranger and Caption Head for the Capital Regiment indoor drumline in 1997 and 1998 where the group received the bronze medal at WGI world Championships. He was the arranger and taught for Westerville North in 2000 and in 2001 where they were Open Class finalist both years. Mark
also was the arranger and taught at Thomas Worthington in 2000 and again in 2003. Thomas Worthington won gold medals both years in scholastic A and in scholastic Open class.  Mark Has been a percussion rep for the Mid East Performance Association and also WGI . He is a current adjudicator around the country for marching band and Indoor competitions as well as a clinician.  Mark also wrote the front ensemble music and taught the pit for RhythmX out of Columbus Ohio in
2004 placing 3rd in Ind. World and finishing 2nd in 2005. Mark worked as an educational sales rep for Columbus Pro Percussion from the fall of 2001 until the summer of 2005 where he went on the be the product manager for Pro-Mark Drumsticks and Mallets. Mark left Pro-Mark in March to take his current position as Product Manager for Dynasty Percussion in Lake Geneva Wisconsin.

Don Click

Don Click  :::::  Percussion Consultant

Don Click, founder and executive director of Music City Mystique, and is currently the Product Manager for Pro-Mark. Don's experience includes several years as Marketing Manager for Pearl Corporation. In addition, he is a member of the WGI Board of Directors, WGI Steering Committee, and president of the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit. He marched with the Bayonne Bridgemen, Suncoast Sound, and the Concord Blue Devils. Don is also an active writer, teacher, judge and consultant for many high school and independent percussion education programs across the United States.  

Brett Jones

Dr. Brett Jones ::::: Percussion Consultant

A native of South Dakota, Brett Jones holds a BME degree from the University of Colorado and a MM degree and a DMA degree from Texas Tech University. Jones currently serves as the Assistant Director of Bands and Instructor of Percussion at Blinn College in Brenham, Texas. He previously served on faculty at Texas Tech University from 2003-2004. He has performed as a section percussionist with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Black Hills Symphony Orchestra, and is currently the Principal Percussionist for the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra. He is a founding member of the Brenham Jazz Quartet. His publications include an article in Percussive Notes, a research document featured in the Percussive Arts Society On-line Research Journal, and compositions and arrangements published by Honeyrock, Percussion Arrangers Music Publishing Company, and Purple Frog Press. He was a featured presenter at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio in 2002, and is an active clinician and adjudicator in Texas. Brett Jones endorses Encore mallets and Planet Marimba mallet instruments.

 

David Bolzman ::::: Visual Consultant

David is the Visual Coordinator for Marching Show Concepts and Center X Productions, Inc.  His marching experience includes the Saginaires of Saginaw, Michigan with 5 years in the percussion section and 1 year as drum major.  The Gulf Coast Sound of Houston, Texas with 1 year in the color guard and 1 year as drum major.  David was on the visual/guard staff for the Troopers of Casper, Wyoming and the visual consultant for the world championship Revolution of San Antonio, Texas in 2003.  He is currently on staff for The Gulf Coast Sound.  He has designed and instructed award-winning shows for numerous drum lines, bands, and color guards in Texas, Michigan, Indiana, South Dakota, and Iowa.  David brings over 25 years of visual and marching experience to the organization.
